“Rising Above the Static: Protecting Your Frequency”
Today’s Smoky Conversation is about refocusing—and the quiet battle that comes with it.
See, the hardest part of refocusing isn’t finding something new to lock in on. It’s refusing—refusing the old habits, the old distractions, the old cycles that once felt comfortable but kept you standing still. Refusing the easy paths that never led anywhere worth going. Refusing, even, the temptation to skip the healing required to open your mind to something greater.
Because here’s the truth: we are sometimes our own worst enemies. Our demons don’t always come wearing red horns—they show up disguised as comfort, old patterns, and familiar pain. They circle us, whispering softly, rejoicing like evil dancing in a fiery field of roses, each bloom burning one by one.
But I’ve learned something.
I don’t need to make my demons dance.
I need my spirit to rejoice in its purpose.
So I walk through that fiery field wearing armor forged from focus and faith. Because on the road to purpose, not everyone can come with you. Not everyone should.
When people operate at a low frequency, you have to let them stay there. Not out of arrogance, but out of protection.
Because gravity pulls down—and it’s far too easy to let someone else’s low energy weigh you down or steal your joy.
So blow them off like a breeze scattering dandelion seeds, and keep moving forward. Not out of spite, but out of self-respect. The air is cleaner up here. The peace is quieter.
So tonight, light one up and raise your glass to the people chasing their purpose in real life—not for show, not for likes, not for validation—but for growth, peace, and legacy. I love how sports imitate life. Not everyone in the stands is cheering for you. Some came to see you stumble, some just want to witness the game, and a few are praying you score. Know the difference—and play your position regardless.
And remember this:
Happiness is like a bike ride—it’s hard work going uphill, but that view at the top makes every pedal worth it.
Until next time…
stay grounded, stay lit, stay smoky, and stay fit!
